I added a skunk shrimp and a fire shrimp to my tank. I already had a skunk shrimp so he makes two. Well, I see the fire shrimp, but no skunk shrimp. My other skunk shrimp is always out in the open. It's been 3 days now and I haven't seen him. Is this normal behavior?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would just give it more time. Sometimes shrimps will molt after shipping. If you have not tried looking at night you may want to try that as well.

I agree, I got a new shrimp and he didn't venture out during the day for two weeks. He was out at night though.

Yeah, the fire shrimp and skunk shrimp do fine together. I have a few peppermint shrimp I added to for aiptasia. I actually have seen one or two of those hanging from rocks...no skunk yet. I'll check at night. He is the same size as my other, but I don't think they'd fight anyways. I'll give him some time. I think I remember my first one taking a little while to get warmed up. My old one seems to be super active, but it took him a few months to really get bold during the day.
