I just started dosing some Algaefix by API on tuesday. hopefully it will help control my GHA a little. Also i picked up an emerald crab as well, he seems to be doing good.

FTS with the new Xenia in there. Seems to be doing just fine. I'm almost certain my polys are aren't doing to good, they've lost almost all there green coloring. My new emerald crab knocked the frag over a few times. My torch has some white areas on its tentacles that seem frail, but i see a new mouth/head developing so that's good news. all in all my GHA seems to be slowly going away. I need to order new bulbs soon Ive had these for around 6 months. Im sticking to a strict WC schedule of 20% every week and a half or so to help my coral and algae growth. (one good one bad lol) I also mounted a small pc fan to my canopy to help keep temps down. Ill snap a shot of that later. Its doing its job and keeps my tank around 78-80 during the hottest time of the day.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I like the new scape better. May be consider raising the water level in tank. :)

thank you Corailline i like it a lot too!

lol im workin on it. it was from changing the gfo in my reactor i emptied the water that was in it. so thats the result of the displacement when i turned her back on. that and some small evaporation but im fixin as we speak.

Update: In the past month I bought a few things for the tank.10 blue leg hermits, a mexican turbo snail, and a ricordia mushroom. The turbo did work on the GHA i had in the tank, 98% is gone. Moved the lights up a few inches and corals see happy. I changed the lighting schedule to 5pm-1a with actinics coming on an hr before and after daylights. I work nights so when I come home i can enjoy the tank. Also doing that helps my tank temp because the lights arent on during the brual fl summer. Tank temp has been no higher than 78-79. Quick video of the tank.
