Glad to be of help. When I built my sump I had to redo it. If you go that route, heres a quick tip lol. So that I didn't have to fight to get the baffles in the right spot again, I only scraped off a resiliconed one side at a time. That way everything was held in place while the new silicone setup. I wasn't in a rush so I did one side one day, let it cure, then did the other side the next day. Then I let everything cure for a couple of days and then leak tested. Hope this helps, and good luck!

I finally finished staining the stand and painting the top ply wood. I need to polyurethane it tomorrow, the sun went down too fast. Its looking pretty good too!

All i need to do now is just pick a place i want the tank, i still have no idea... and plumb it permanently. Im going to look around locally for some black 3/4" vinyl tubing, and i think im going to go with a rio 14hf as my return.

Thats about all the progress thats been made. I cant wait to start getting some rock to put in there and get water moving.

Ill get a good front shot tomorrow, currently its in the smallest hallway in the house. So this is just so you get the idea of what she looks like now. I eventually want to put sides on it, but idk when lol id rather get the tank going first.

Good question. Im going to wait till after xmas in case my girl, or some buddies got me anything (they know im friggin addicted to this hobby like a crack head.) for the tank. My girl mentioned going shopping for some rock soon which im always stoaked about. But hopefully ill get some mula for a return pump, then im gonna slowly start adding rock to the tank and sand in the fuge.

Its going to be a little while till i have this up and going full force with fish and what not. Im still way behind in the light game, so its probably going to be lit by cfls for a while.

I have my 20 gallon with a small 4x24w t5 that i could put over one half of the tank. But i told my girly that and she said, WHAT?? you cant move them from there its their home... and got all mad. So idk what im going to do bout that haha. Ill do it when shes not looking and tell her to just deal with it. I mean i explained thell be going from lets say ~16 gallons of water to a tank thats 75 with a total volume ~100 lol, I said they would love it. But shes hardheaded because shes seen the 20 grow up from the beginning.

Thanks man, im doing my best to the tank. I did i did but I was thinking down the road i could sell it and the tank and canopy as a whole set up for cheap. That tank was my first tank ive ever had, fresh or salt so i feel if i can manage a small tank like that, this tank should be a walk in the park, so to speak lol.

Man ive been bouncing back and forth between:

a 6 bulb t5 fixture (tec fixture). I would go with a 4 bulb fixture, but then i would definitely add some sort of actinic leds on it like some PAR bulbs.
2, 250 W MH with 2 t5's as actinics. (Maybe leds as actinic suppliments)
or a Rapid led 48 led dimmable kit.

Those are in order of which i would prefer, also. Ive been checking a local club for anything that may pop up, as well as good ol craigslist, and ill put in the word at a lfs to keep their eyes open on anything that may pop up.
