Oh, you are right about the center brace. I hate that. lol.

kessils do looks like great lamps. I suppose if you just have them a little higher up above the water you won't notice the spotting as much as you do on his 90. You should be able to do sps with no problem.

Yeah, i cant wait till that day comes where i can actually think about lights. I mean to the point where i place my order, i think about it everyday honestly lol. I seriously doubt ill have any on it soon. My plans are to get a return pump, i just need 60 bux for a 12hf by taam. Ill get-r-wet, cycle it, and just add inverts... Thinking about it, im probably going to be doing what your doing atm. lol

However long it will take idc. I wanna go slow as to mature this system more gradual than my 20. (ive learned a thing or 2 in the year n half ive been in the hobby)

By chance this will allow my fuge time to establish itself with pods galore (well thats the idea any who ;D) and a healthy crop of macro in there and that trusty DSB. Fish will be minimal, maybe a pair of clarkii clowns for a while lol ive always wanted some, they're awesome. Im going to be worried about my fuge more than my dt for some time. And im okay with that. Id rather have a tank age this way. It may be boring for some 3reefers, as i wont have a stunning reef any time soon, with jaw dropping macros of stunning polyp extension on sps ... but it will get there one day...

    ... i mean Rome wasn't built in a day. ;)

Thanks!, ive thought about it over and over again. We try replicating something thats had well over a few million years to get to the point where it is at now, and we all try to do that in a month... think about it... I want my tank to bio diversify itself as natural as i can make it. That means going slow...

    ... really slow... lol.

Update: Just purchased a mag 7 from user Servillius. Thanks again bud for the deal. Cant wait to see it at my front door.

This means... Tank is sitting at like 90% finished. All i need is some rock, well quite a bit actually. then once i have the rock, cycle will commence immediately. Still no lighting to be seen. I dont mind having some cfls over it for a while.

Yeah, your current light setup will be fine for fish and inverts.

Do you have sand, or will this be a bare-bottom tank?

Yeah Im fine with that ATM. Its going to be a bb tank. I wanna order some Marco rocks cut pieces and silicone it to the bottom glass. That way I can build off it and not worry about glass breaking. I'll cement my entire scape off of it. I think that be cool.
I kinda wanna DIY rapid kit. That would be fun, and very bright. Lol
