Thanks man, its been fun so far. Im going to try and get my hands on some sound dampening material made from foam that they use in recording studios, radio, etc. Hopefully its not expensive. lol but i havnt even looked that up yet. I think it should help a lot.

glad to see everything is going good. Thanks for your help on my build its been very helpful. as far as fish go I think your right about your chrom you've been eyeing you where really excited when you saw them and you might regret not getting them if you go with a different fish, but there are so many to choose from its very hard thats why I will leave it to my wife and kids to decide what fish will be in my tank when its ready,

Thanks, its no problem at all, glad to help anytime possible! I think your right a school of some uncommon chromis would be cool. I might give WWC a call when that time comes and pick em up. Im sure they could get something for me, theyre awesome. If not ill just see when LA has them again...

Thanks for stopping by, hopefully there will be life in this tank soon! lol

Thanks! Im proud of myself ;). those are nice, Reefbruh had one in his tank, and it looked so beautifiul. Idk what it is with some chicks and eels. lol guess it looks too much like a snake, and i know my girl wouldnt even look at one on tv, let alone in my tank.

Whatever... ill just have to get something of equal beuaty in a fish. lol

Today i may have done the best & worst thing i could have done for my tank...

I hooked up my rodi unit in the bathroom adjacent to the tank. I ran a line in to the room and i can top off my tank by simply turning a valve! So sweet! and i can fill up my BRUTE as well.

But here the bad... During hooking up the rodi under the bathroom sink i found a bag of ceramic bio balls. Being in a rush i just thru it in the tank and now i think it had some soap/chemicals on it cuz it looks like a bubble bath in the sump... I dont know what to do? Should i leave it and then wait for the cycle to finish and change the water? i think i messed up big time, theres no telling what was on em. Then again, there may be a chance that its due to me adding a cube of mysis to help the cycle... but i dont doubt it.
    RODI fresh on tap!

How i put it in the bathroom, and the tds meter is easy to see.

    Annnd the bubble bath...

Idk what i should do? just let it set for a while. i mean i dont have anything in the tank worse im gonna have to do is drain it...

Thats after i netted like 100000 bubbles. I drained the entire tank, rescaped it too. Oh well better now that later down the road.

Oh and i found out i put the RODI on hot... what a dumbass i am seriously. almost flooded the kitchen getting it unhooked, polluted the tank, and ran the rodi on hot...

i cought that in time too and switched her back to cold... ugh today needs to be over with. brews and bud here i come.
