Wow, you are having a rough day. I would clean out the sump and DT. Mix new water and run lots of carbon to remove any impurities that did not get caught.

Maybe make notes on what to do and what not to do and read them before doing anything?

Thanks fellas i got as as much water as humanly possible. I also got my BRS reactors up that Leighton sent me. (thanks again) its also my fuge pump too. Looks good. Im still so upset at the coarse of events that unfolded. But im certain with that now my rodi is ready in the room at a moments notice, and the sump all taken care of, and all the leaks are adressed im sure things will start looking up.

I will run carbon when i can get my hands on some. and ill run the piss out if it too. I dont think things should be a problem any longer. I really just wanna get my 20 taken down, its looking worse and worse each day.'

John, i just need to stop doing things on impulse, i thought hey, more biological filtration to compensate for lack of rock... at the time i was more concerned with getting RODI all squared away i just plopped the bag in the sump and, well ... lol I just need to realx.

i do the same. i do impulse s*** that costs me later. idk what the bubbles looked like before, but i get the same thing at the output on my HOB filter on my mangrove tank(currently cycling). carbon should help get nasties out of the water.;)

the set up is looking great man! you can tell you're taking your time and doing things the right way. sucks about your brain fart earlier but we've all done things like that before when we're in a hurry or what not :p hey the best time to make any goof like that is now, when the tanks still empty. no harm no foul.
