It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Looks really good, I like the scape with two separate islands (wish I could do something like that).

Nice sump set up, that will make a big difference after you stock and everything gets settled. Should allow you some nice water quality.

Thanks Coralline, :). Im hoping to make the right island a bit larger over time. The left one im leaving as is. I like 2 islands as well, my 20 ws like that for the majority of its days, so i continue with the tradition in the big tank.

I hope my water quality stays stable, and safe at all times and i hope this sump will help. I think it will once its going 100%. Right now im just sitting back and letting it do its thing. Ive been looking for any leaks, and i have some points where salt creep is there, but so minute its whatever. lol.

I do see some small diatoms coming on the base rock, which is always a good sign.

Been a while with out an update. Tanks doing well, i think i may need to raise the skimmer, but im not sure if its the water level, or the lack of bio load for it to skim. any who ive been getting some of these vascular clear things.

and the baserock is showing signs of coralline growth already with small green spots, with a few purple here and there.

no new fish or anything just letting it be.

    Already coralline, nice bro!

As far as the skimmer goes, it might take a while to get it fine tuned. Open/close the outlet, wait for a day or two, open/close the air valve, wait for a bit etc..

Thanks, i intend to add more in the future, and everything has already been moved in, rock and fish. I havnt looked more into that, i just been busy and broke lol. But idk maybe my noise tolerance is high, but it doesnt bother me a bit. But like i said, its in my room, with an ac window unit cranking to keep it cooled, and my surround sound that when im watching tv, it drowns it out. Its not quiet but, i can tolerate it for now. But i want to eventually try that project out, just to do it.
Thank man, yeah i decided to try it out for a while, if i dont like it, its easier to add sand, rather than subtract sand lol. But i like it, when i do my first Water change, i can see all the waste so ill be able to clean the tank easier and control phates n trates.

Also makes food easier to spot of the fish i think, and it wont get stranded on the san dbed, meaning every morsel of food gets eaten, and no nutrients leached!
