Snorkeling off the beaches of Maui

I am lucky enough to be snorkeling in Maui this week! So far the experience has been awesome, first day out I saw an amazing array of fish including two large cuttlefish -- very cool. The trigger fish here are amazing, I can not believe how thick they are in the wild! Normally when I see them in fish stores they are so thin compared to how they look in the wild.

Going to try and aquire an underwater camera, If I manage to get one and get a few good shots I'll post them here ;D

 

Awesome, I envy you. Only 6 weeks and I'll be in the caribbean snorkelling, I can't wait!!

I got to go snorkeling off the north shore when I was in high school. I loved every minute of it. By far the worst sunburn I have ever had.

I only wish that I knew what I know now. It was all alien to me. I got to swim with the sea turtles, and saw a octopus, but that is all that I could recognize then.

I recently went to Maui It was amazing u have got to go to the aquarium it's amazing I saw a dragon eel while i was there it was beautiful I also saw a huge puffer a trumpet fish some needlefish triggers tangs butterflys and even some parrot fish it was amazing what hotel r u staying at?
