Congrats on the pickup! I agree with Corailline, it's always nice to start from scratch to get the tank exactly how you want it. And cute puppy :)

Softy reef. I never really caught the sps bug. I'm planning on doing a rock scape that gives plenty of room to swim, so I'm only going to add another 20-30lbs of rock.

I love snowflake clowns so they are a must, I already have a baby bta in my tank, so he'll probably end up in there as well.

Kole eye tangs are super cool looking and i rarely see anyone with them.

Then the last and most questionable choice is the tear drop butterflyfish. I've read that most butterflies arent reef safe. This one lookedf promising. I want BIG fish. But most of the big ones aren't reef safe, or they're too big. \:

I would add this cool species of butterfly, smaller, maybe not as pretty, but really cool!
Prognathodes aculeatus, Longsnout butterflyfish : aquarium
I see them on LA/DD from time to time.
I would get a rockdweller as well. A TSB or ORA goby would work. Fang blennies are nice if you want a cool active fish.

WOW. $89 for a small one on LA.

I LOVE Tail Spot Blennies, almost got one today, then remembered my tank wasn't set up.
