But it never started to smell and was dry to touch when I got home so I assume all was well been a couple days so its good I guess. I'm going to scrape and resilicon this week I guess. I dunno lol but as anything its a work in progress

Hold on a second. If I'm reading right, the tank itself is leaking where the bottom glass joins one of the sides? If this is the case, there is NO WAY I would just try to smear more silicone inside of the tank and call it a day. It will probably only stop the leak for awhile, not to mention that the structural integrity of the tank is weakened and I would NEVER risk 125 gallons of water dumping on my floor. To PROPERLY fix this tank would require a complete disassemble, cleaning all the edges of the glass panels with acetone to remove EVERY bit of old, and then re-assembling the entire tank with new silicone. Which is a very big job. Hate to burst your bubble, but just trying to give you a heads up.

Looks like a good start. Good to see you taking your time and doing it right, nothing good in this hobby happens fast.

it might be worth a try to put it up on craigslist and say that there is a small leak in the silicone but it would still be great for snakes and other critters!!!
