So back in march I got my first fish tank. Decided to go salt. Bought a 29 that I thought was 30 for a long time lol. Did okay had a few fish bought a few coral. Had some deaths still have some survivors. So my uncle gave me his old 125. So I had got it filled it up was all excited and the thing leaked all most empty in my new apartment floor. So needless to say it sat a month. Lol. So finally I painted it wanted black but bought brown did not notice until it was way to late thought it would dry ans get darker. Never did. But its okay was a very dark brown so painted it all up changed door hinges. Worked with a hammer for about three hours to try and make my wet and dry that I bought on Cl that was to big fit in stand. Never did. So its exposed. But everything is pretty quit so not to bad. So I resealed by my self the whole tank. Scraped all silicon out and did it over agin. Filled it up and guess what! It leaked. So I did it agin this time success. So I filled it up with water mixed my salt. Next step sand. Decided to go with play sand. As I think it looks more like beach sand. But lets all be honest 6 dollers is alot better then 100 bucks for sand for this six foot big crying baby of a tank. So I seeded it with some sand and rock from my 29 formally know as my 30g lol. Let it run for about three weeks. Now remember that six dollar sand took about three weeks to settle to I would say 90 percent clear. So today I test everything everything is good. I go buy some damesel fish to get going. I bought five of them different colors. So I get home and decided to put everything from my 29 into my 125 and also that I wanted a 29 Bio cube! because I swear every time I saw mines I thought of Coralines ( sorry if I spelled your name wrong) and I just have to admit it to myself her's is better and I want one too. Lol. So now I have moved everything over fish are all swimming together I think because during rock work the small rock work I do have lol I mixed up some sand so now I'm down to like 50 percent visabilty. But I'm happy. I need better lights though. But I'm going to do FO for a while with only that small amount of rock in middle. Until I can save up and get some lights. I only had three corals a nem. A frogspawn. And a rock nem. There all directly under my lights I do have so I think they will be okay. O yea I kinda dropped the corner of light in water and got a good shock so be careful kids. Just thought I would share. No one else but you guys care about my fish lmao. They just act like they do we all know the feeling deep down inside lol. Here are some pics and don't be mean this tank was tgr first thing I have ever built and or fixed and its been a journey

    Great!

Well after the rough start with plumbing and such, looks like it's finally coming together. I think you will be happier with a bigger tank, you seem to like the bigger fish.

Thank you for the compliment on my tank, Corailline or Cheryl is just fine by me.

    :)

Very nice scape, looks good, seriously.

You get a lot of residual film on the glass after the water clears. They do have brushs/sponges on a stick with a handle that will work, can you get a mag float back there? Other than that arm in tank always works.

Thanks after posting I changed like two rocks so my zoas can be higer up and frog spwan is in middle. But I think that's good rock work for what I have and plus its a big tank plenty of room for new ideas as they come. But thanks alot. Yea I could maybe get it back there I dunno how good though. I might have to go with hand in tank. But ill leave it kinda likein the snail trail lol.
