It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I know how you feel, but for me it's inverts and coral. I have no self control, what keeps me in check is a small tank now, and having to drive 80 miles round trip to the LFS. The money I spent on clams when I had a large tank is shameful.

But I will say this, I almost always have a decent knowledge base regarding something before I buy it.

I do think you got too many at once, and another tang for crying out loud!

Wish you and your fish nothing but the best, but go slower.........:)

Coralline speaks the truth. I tried to do SW fish like I did FW cichlids and it just doesn;t work! 1-2 fish at a time

Yea but every where I read says its good to introduce then at the same time. I don't doubt what she says but that's what I had read before hand. And I got another tang because I really like them and I figure withe bigger tank it should be better as the other tank was really small in comparison. The only fish that seems shy though is the long nose butterfly fish. But its only day one. Everything is eating well. But I realize I need a Skimmer. So that's next. Here are some pics.

Please point out where a reputable fish expert mentions adding multiple fish at the same time. I know on liveaquaria is mentions doing this to avoid agression within the same species. The reason not to do so, is the increase in bio load. The Nitrifying bacteria is set for the current load. When you increase the load exponentially it can;t keep up and excess ammonia sticks around causing injury or death to your fish. It is your tank, but I don;t believe you have the proper amount of live rock or filtration to handle that many fish at once

So for filtration ill be getting a Skimmer this weekend to help out. Everybody is still eating except for one problem. My tang has killed to damsels already. I witness it sort of drowning one. And found another body like it stops it from swimming like backs up on it and holds them down to the ground. I don't mind because I got them as tester fish so to speak. I feel bad but I prefer the tang. so any suggestions?

Everything so far seems to be working out. No fish look sick or anything. Every body eats and follows me around its kinda funny. I notice the tang and long nose pick at rocks eating something but I can't see what it is. But everything is going going good.

Well this Morin woke up to a dead tang and a dead butterfly. No idea what's wrong water is fine temp is fine. Tomorrow a Guy is coming to change half water and clean everything and test everything properly I guess. Why do my fish keep dying even in such a decent sized tank. One thing for sure ill never ever buy a tang agin. Like I know there fish but there my pets you know. But yea so all is not well in fish land.
