Off, let the little guy chill for awhile. Do you have a thermometer on the tank?

Some fish stores might, most probably will not. They may be more willing to trade if you are a frequent customer. I am not sure how common those angels are locally.

It is certainly not the ideal fish for your current tank, but it will probably be ok for a while as long as you can give it some decent food.

You might have more luck on craigslist with regard to trade or finding a new home. And then again some fish store might take it and give you store credit. Never know until you try.

Corailline is giving some great advise as are the rest of the posters.

I would definitely look for a new home for the angel. I think CL will be your best bet. Try you LFS and see what they say. You may get a trade or store credit. Don't forget or go against what you know as you stated with impulse purchases of stock.

Good luck and keep on asking questions.

Yea im on my way now to lfs he told he does not have much fish in stock now but I told him I would take two clowns and do this right way. No more impluse buying and I think it deserves a big home where it will do well with people that are prepared for it. So ill take pics of new fish when I get home. Sorry lil buddy.

Beautiful animals are what is so great and difficult about this hobby. Kudos for recognizing that you need to look into the welfare of the animal over your desire for the animal. Good luck on a trade.
