+1 for the PSK-75. I just bought one last week from a local add in the paper here. I wanted to try running it in addition to my ATS. Good skimmer took about a day to start making gunk & about 3 to get dialed in. For a budget minded skimmer I can say I'm pretty happy with it.

Thanks for.the info but I think until I'm ready for corals I'm going to go with the weekly water changes. I'm thinking now though to get some fish. Or should get more rocks and a clean up crew.?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
How is the current ammonia level?

I myself like to proceed with a small CUC, let them settle for a week or so and then a fish. It's good to let some algae accumulate before you get a large CUC so they have something to eat in my opinion.

This tank is less than a week so you should go really slow, and let it cycle some more and adjust slowly to bio-loads between additions.

So went to local lfs and my water is still in its cycle witch I knew lol but still can't wait to find out. Also I have alot of brown stuff starting to appear here are some pics. Also looks like what I thinks is a snail is eating it? He came with the rocks there was another but it dug in the sand and I never saw it agin I assume it dug its grave and died?
