I can hardly contain my excitement!!!!

    The Hobbit, trailers are out.

I really like the Bilbo Baggins character and it's nice to see Ian McKellen as Gandalf.

It's all such a tease though because it's almost a year before the movie hits theaters.

You may return to your regular scheduled viewing now, I was just so excited.

    Thank you

    Cheryl :):):):):):):):):):)

I read the books a couple times as a teenager and read them to my son a couple times. It's a wonderful escape.

The first 3 movies were really well done IMO and this gives me an excuse to watch them again.

I am hoping Smug plays a major role as well. Love the Shire and all the little Hobbit houses.

Yes I am a big time geek and loving it.

I did the same Cheryl, I read "The Hobbit" and the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy as a kid. Those books are what started my passion for reading! Such great characters, twisting plots, just great writing all around. I'm going to read "The Hobbit" again before the movie...

Yeah I probably should have put Hobbit in the title to attract more of my kind. ::)

Oh very good idea. While the movies are really good nothing beats the book. :)

I'm excited also. I saw the cartoon years ago and thought it was good. Now I get to see the movie soon!
