so heres what im looking at

yea i love the McCoskers as well, but im thinking now that more fish would be better than 1 as they will distract the clowns more because they wouldnt know who to pick on

Well I added 9 chromis at once and pretty much all survived.. ( exept 1 that jumped.. But that was my fault)

They are awesome and they pretty much are fearless.. ( I can take a fish out by putting a glass and they pretty much go inside by themselves) or I can catch them with my hand without chasing them too.. Lol my nephew ( he is 3) said " wwhy do those fish love you so much?"

they will follow you everywhere you go after they feel comfortable. Such a curious fish. I personally LOVE my chromis.

Edit: a group of 5 will be ok.. Get them in odd numbers when adding chromis.

From what I've read on chromis, it all depends on how they were collected as to survival in the aquarium. they are a deeper water fish in the wild, so if they were brought to the surface too fast they tend to get the bends and are short lived. However if they were captured properly they are a hardy aquarium addition. I bought 5 of them about a year ago, and within the week I only had one left. he is still alive and happy. I just bought 6 more from another lfs about 2 months ago, and all 6 seem to be doing fine.

Don't know if this helps, just my experience with chromis.

Thanks this was one of the easiest aquascapes that i have done, all i did was flip and turn and relocate the top rocks, and turned out totally different, and for once i did not have muddy water, just sandy so i could actually see what i was doing this time

im hoping my mom will go down to the lfs tomorrow and get some for me, its supposed to rain crazy hard all week and she said she doesnt really want to drive in the way, guess ill have to beg her to go down.
