A few months ago when PAR38s were still very new, there was some debate on how well corals adjusted to the light given from the PAR38. Some users had said that their zoas lost color, wouldn't open, etc. Some other people were very firm that their PAR38s were working.

I am still very interested in these, and I am wondering how your corals are looking after a few months of use? At the time, the NanoCustomers 38s were popular but now I am seeing BoostLED's bulb and liking that as well.

I have a 75 g with only 4 60 degree boostleds par30's and they are absolutely amazing for my corals. I went on a month long vacation and when i came back a few of my corals looked dead or close to dead but i added the par30's and i was amazed at how quickly the corals came back especially a neon green hammer that i had that looked like it was dead. In the past i have had power compacts, t5s and metal halides but the coral seems to open up most to the leds

I love mine!-PAR 30's that is. Wouldn't trade them for anything...except perhaps some DIY rapid's but I'll save those for another project.

Glad to hear. I have a few tanks i had hoped to use these on (including one of my own) but since they were so new I decided to go with what i knew was going to work.

I have a 36" 6 bulb Tek on my 40 breeder thats just about 6 months old, and thinking about a change.
