    the puffer is either staying in his 20 or going to the lfs.

    And as far as jumping i have an eggcrate lid as i knew i was going to have a jumper with the wrasse

    Just a suggestion.....A purple firefish looks alot like that and is alot cheaper!!!

    that's what i was thinking about too, like even a pair of black and white clownfish is $80

    I personally want a flaming prawn goby. The other fish I'd be willing to drop that amount of cheddar on is a blue spotted jawfish.

    I have a purple firefish and its so sweet and VERY colorful its one of the first fish people notice in my tank.

    Your tank shouldn't be getting really hot. Most all fish and corals are "fragile" if it gets really hot, so if that's an actual concern, you should be looking into a chiller.

    i'm not sure of the temp of my tank, i still need to get a thermometer, nothing is in the tank right now so i'm not worried about temp at this moment, but i have the heater set at 76, what's considered "hot" to most fish and corals

    76-82 is a decent range, 78 being ideal. I wouldn't go lower, and wouldn't go higher, and it shouldn't fluctuate (key). Any higher, critters will start to stress, and die at higher temps. My tank stays right around 80.
