    ok, i'll make sure i'll get a thermometer soon before i get any livestock to test out my temp, what is a good thermometer to get?

    I use an old fashioned, cheap, no electronics to fail glass thermometer. It was $3 and suction cups into the sump. I will soon have a reefkeeper controller which will monitor everything, including temp.

    haha good point rob!!! puffer im also getting an orange firefish as well the purples are in the 30 dollar range and the orange ive seen for 14

    The purple firefish are beautiful. I don't plan to cover my tank though, so they're out for me.

    yea one of my FAV fish and def worth the 36 dollars, i have a custom built canopy over my 180 so theres NO way it could get out!!
