So i went to atlantis aquarium in NY (PICS!)

Atlantisaquarium in RiverHead, NY is located exit 73 on the L.I.E and it was a fun day...

Here are a few pic's i took them with a nikon d80 with my new speedflash 600. Was testing out my marco settings so i took good closeup's i have more at home and will uppload asap

Tell me what u guys think. If anybody live in the NY queens, Longisland area i wouldnt mind if we all set up a nice little group ...ill be more then happy to be the camera guy! This nikon d80 cost me a hole lot of money so i gotta put it to use. Tell me what u guys think.! (btw my hands smelled like fish for about 2 days...after feeding the stingrays $20 worth of food!)

 

That's a really nice aquarium. I went a few years ago with my local club. Shame that the aquarium didn't exist when I lived in Long Island. Here are the pics I took during our trip.

nice pic's...i went a little early...alot of the atractions were not open yet..iam hopeing to go again sometime in july so i can see more, and do more like "swim with the sharks" should be a rush!

Well the day i went was really busy...was a college group of about 30 people do research with most of the atlantis staff. So i really didnt get to talk to anybody. But the staff were really nice. :thumb_up:
