    So I arrive in Santa Monica last night and my uncle showed me his tank. He got alot of cool hitchhikers with his live rock (im jealous) one of which is this and only really comes out at night. Any ideas?

    thats either a nudibranch or sea slug. some are good , some are bad. theres a couple members who are well informed on what type this is.

    oh yea I forgot to mention this, it has a hard shell (when felt) and it has a slit that sometimes shows it(possibly white in color) could it still be a nudibranch or slug?
