    I am in need of some guidance. I have a 26 gallon salt water swim that I am turning in to aswim / reef tank and I need a power head. What do I look for in one and where do I go to get one?????? Help please

    Check out the New to Hobby section of the forums. That is going to be your greatest friend in gaining information right now. At this moment I would recommend a Hydor koralia.

    First, you need to decide what types of coral you plan to keep so you know how much flow you need. You'll also want to use 2 or more smaller powerheads to achieve good circulation throughout the entire tank, rather than having one big PH pumping in a single direction.

    Would it be weird to ask 3reef if they have any extra power heads? I feel like everyone has that box of old aquarium parts and and stuff.

    I would suggest hydors as well. I Do believe you qualify for the market place postings. Not sure however as I haven't visited it in a while.

    I think its like a month activity and 30 posts?
