    Hello,
I started my first 75g in 97' and wow have things changed since then. The store I was buying my fish from didn't know anything about salties leading to a lot of sad losses. The tank was taken down while I was deployed one year and hasn't been up since. I have since sold it and now have a 210g built into a wall and just had water and CaribSea life rock added at Thanksgiving this year. I've been reading many threads and have learned a lot since I've joined 3reef.
It's not much to look at right now but as soon as I get rid of some large bubbles coming from one of my main return pumps I'll post a couple pictures.
I look forward to meeting new friends and sharing thoughts and ideas.
    Scott

    Welcome!

I too have been in and out of the hobby since the '90s. My fishroom is now about one year old. I recently joined this forum myself. My Father-in-law lives in Gig Harbor and I lived there for a while as well. There isn't much in the way of stores there. One in Lakewood but the better one is in Silverdale. Where have you been going?

I've been to the Lakewood store but the folks just aren't that friendly and I am not going to give my money to folks that are in it for the money and not the hobby. Eric at Shark Reef in Silverdale has been great. When I was building the house he came out and gave me his recommendations on room sizes and what he thought I needed for space, etc. He's the only person I go to now.

    Welcome to 3Reef!

I am on my second tank as well which I took down after I got out of the army and moved. A lot has changed but patience is still the best thing to have.

Thank you! I learned last time to take it slow and study, study, study before doing anything. I can't say that it's easy to take it slow.
    Thank you for your service!

I've lost two of these little guys 2 days ago and haven't been able to find them. Right now because the tank is so new I don't have any clean-up crews yet. Question is should I pick up some hermit crabs or ?? to help with getting rid of the lost guys?

I am not a fan of crabs. They are clumsy with knocking things around and eat snails when they feel like it. I recommend a snails CUC package from reefcleaners.org. John will hook you up.

And thank you for your service as well.
