It's alot of pics...and they aren't very high quality cause our camera isn't very high quality either. My mom's hoping to get a nice one sometime in the future. I'm proud of this, being our first ever SW aquarium and a young aquarium to boot.

Why don't you get her one for christmas :)

TBH, in my opinoin - i think your livestock is a little heavy for a four week old tank, other then that - looks good.

Yeah I know what you're saying...and if we went with uncured rock and salt mixed water, our cycle would have taken much longer. However:
-we started our cycle with rock directly from our LFS display tanks (pre cured and living and all that, essential "moving the rock" instead of cycling it)
-LFS water directly from their frag tanks. Which consist of not only one, but five 500+ gallon "tanks" (basically 5'x5'x1' ROUGHLY, just to show what they look like)

So we didn't really have much of a full cycle. It was more of a move from one tank to another than a cycle.
Week one: let the tank stand alone. Live sand die off kicks in and gets obliterated by rock bacteria.
Week two: add 2 clowns. They poop. were kings of the tank for a while.
    Week 2.5: CUC added
Week 3: added Pistol Shrimp and goby (goby MIA...most likely food for everyone...) AND an overkill skimmer.
Week 4 (anniversary yesterday): added Cleaner Shrimp, and 6 line wrasse, and free zoa.

So we're moving kind of quickly...but all of the params are great and the hair algae we got in week two is now almost entirely gone. ;D

    Ha ha

Excellent way to start the tank! I started my frogfish tank off just like that! (well used materials from my tank)
