Not the exact article, but references intense solar activity in that time window. Other scientists also talk about intense solar flares / etc. which could release radiation which could severly impact our planet.

I think there are alien ties with the pyramids and the calendars. I don't believe a race so primitive could be so advanced on their own, when it comes to math and physics. There is a lot of evidence of alien contact with the Egyptians, Mayans, and even the Christians. Holy Bible.. Exodus.. talks of ufos and strange beings. If you want to talk Bible, lets talk the rapture. Many will just up and disappear, while others are left with the fate of the earth (plaques and disaster). Who knows they could be rescued by the mothership.. lol.
I believe 2012 will be a new age. I believe some will survive, but I believe many will perish. Talks of polar shifts and evidence cataclysmic events such as natural disasters are rearing their ugly heads everywhere. I take them as a sign of whats to come.

If you read the Celestine Prophecy it tells about about a new age for man. It talks about man fufilling their desires and looking for meaning in life. A higher sense of reasoning and truths. I want to believe we as a society will evovle in our thinking and how we treat the earth, but part of me thinks of man like a disease, and the cataclysms could be the earths own natural immune system.. to wipe out the disease known as man.

Its all a business. By promoting fear in people people can make money on survival kits, advertise survival movies, etc. Also, look at all the other world ending times that have come and gone... Im not convinced yet.

 

When people are afraid ... they consume.

Building bomb shelters, stocking up on safety supplies, etc etc etc.

 

All useless lol. Like I said I keep a heavy stock on ammo. If it comes that's all I need. And if it doesn't, well I still have loads of fun on the weekends
