I have read a great many articles about soaking food in garlic. I am doing it too, I think.

I would like to discuss the proper way to do this, with flake and Nori.

I have taken two different approaches.

    1) In a ramekin I will put the flake food in and then drop a few drops of Garlic Extreme on top of it, wait a few minutes until it is absorbed. Maybe put my hand on top of the ramekin and shake. I will then dump this chunky stuff into the tank. Fish love

    2) In a ramekin I will put the flake food and draw up a little sea water from the tank in a syringe and combine with the food. I will add a few drops of Garlic Extreme and swirl, then let sit.
I will dump this, more homogeneous mixture, into the tank. Fish love.

For those not familiar with a ramekin:

    Now what about soaking Nori?

This morning I took a piece out and dropped about 12 drops of Garlic Extreme on it, making several lines and waited about 20 minutes for it to soak in. I then rubber-banded it around a mutilated plastic hanger and hooked it under one of my heaters....you guessed it, fish love.

How is everybody else doing this?

good idea... i don't soak all my food in garlic... i have flakes and stuff I don't...

what i do soak is the food i make in my blender (just a mix of junk) that I put several drops in and blend.

this sits for a ee-wittle bit while i bag it and stick it in the freezer. as it turns out, I make a years worth at a time ::)
