Soft coral on my plant?

    I noticed this awhile ago, but still have no idea what it is
    It is growing on my plant and has a look of a maze... It is soft, flat, and gummy. Clear in the middle, turns to darkish brown/black, and the outer side has vibrant orange.
    I can't describe it but hope the pictures help. Pictures will be added as soon as I can, but anyone know what I'm saying, feel free to add input. Thanks!

    I would say it's a sponge but a pic would help a lot when you get it up;)

    Are sponges Like gelatine? I've had sponges, this is a fungas or coral I believe. Who knows it could be tho thanx!
