okay it's been awhile everyone so hi again. Okay so I'm wanting to expand on my corals and as of now I have green polyps and i short tenticule plate coral the size of my palm. I'm wanting to get a hammer or frogspawn but i'm wondering if ther's corals u can't mix? I'm wanting to get a kenya tree a lil further down the road so i'm not wanting to get anything that'll prevent me from getting one. Oh and thanks in advance you guys are awesome;D

Yea, there are some corals that you need to be careful of in terms of placing them next to each other. There are some that have sweeper tentacles that will sting other corals or they may have toxins (like zoas) that will poison other corals, but only when directly in contact with another.

I am pretty sure that as long as you keep them separated, you should be fine, but I would wait for someone else to weigh in too

Hammer and Frogspawn are stingers if they come in contact with another coral. Your Kenya Tree is fine. Softies (leathers) are toxic if they get mangled by a fish or another coral messess with it. They release it into the water column. LPS like Torch, Galaxia have sweeper tentacles that when they are hungry will search out food. If you keep alot of soft corals its a good idea to run carbon in your system.

Yes, any container that holds water can be used as a sump, including the trickle filter. :)
