I had a couple of these things pop up out of the blue. This is in my 20G tank that has been running for over 5 years now. Last week these just sprung up out of the rock, about the size of pencil tip and has grown. This particular one is about 3/4" diameter now. At first I thought it was cyano until I tried to blow it off with my turkey baster. Then I noticed it was very soft in consistancy, almost like an anemone. So I figured maybe my anemone spawned or something random like that. Then a couple days later, another smaller one popped up on a different rock about 3" below it. I have no clue what it is, but it doesn't seem to be bothering the fish or the anemones in my tank, and nothing is bothering it. Any ideas? Thanks. :)

The thing has grown quite a bit the last 2 weeks. I'll try to get another picture tonight. It definitely doesn't look like a sponge, as it does not have the typical holes like a tunicate etc.
