    i have zoas, green button polyps and brown hairy mushrooms. my tank is small, can i put red or blue mushroom corals next to zoas, ans will my orange gorgonian get hurt if the mushroom coral touches it?, coz thts the only place i can keep it in my tank. i love them and want to get it..... iv got montipora cap. too but its on the top, very far from zoas....... please let me know...

    Welcome to 3Reef!!!

    Having another species of coral next a mushroom is a little risky. They often put out their mesenterial filaments and try to sting the other coral away. Is there a possibility you can rearrange the corals?

    I have had my mushrooms simple expand and cover another coral causing death to the covered areas. So I would say the gorgonian is in danger.
