softies compatiblity

    i have zoanthids seamat, hairy mushroom and green button polyps in a 15 gal nano. can i add green star polyps, purple and red mushrooms and blue anthelia? all will be mostly close to each other. will it be fine?

    I'm not sure on this but in that small of a tank with fast growers like zoas and GSP I think you will be doing a lot of trimming to keep them away so they don't "attack" (for lack of a better word) each other.

    I dont see anything that jumps out as killing each other, but like the wasit said, softies are in general fast growers, especially GSP and in a smaller tank over growning each other can be a concern.

    And that blue anthelia (blue xenia) may just be covering the whole tank in a few months!!:eek: That stuff makes GSP look like a slow grower.

    they wont kill eachother, but the gsp and anthellia will overtake the tank very quickly, its cool but grows like weeds, i have to trim my anthellia regularly, its become more of a nuisance then something to admire.

    taht means it wont kill anything right? i dont mind if they are fast cox i will be transfering them in my new tank after a few months like 2-3months. so is it fine now?

    yes then you'll be good nothing will actually kill eachother.

    wel the lfs sent GSP with sympodium instead of anthelia. has any1 had any experience keeping this coral??
