hello guys any ideas? picture is kinda blurry but should give the general idea.

its a light baby blue, i had to put it in a place where it does not get as much light or flow as it would in the middle of my tank because my BSP seems to find it tasty and bites it. where it is currently placed it has a yellow tale blue damsel that defends it being near its home and all.

    cheers

Hmm. Looks like some type of montipora. Probably a montipora capricornis. Also known as a monti cap.

does it extend little polyps? I have a blue coral (does not look like yours) that I thought was a monti cap until it started to develop mouths and then I could see it was a lot more like a chalice.

Could be washed out, give it time and it may turn purple. Also, there are a TON of color morphs. The primary colors are purple, green and red/orange. But I have seen color morphs of every sort. It's most definitely a plating montipora.
