I recently purchased a Scolymia 4 days ago and it is still yet to eat. I have tried to squirt some mysis on him to get him to release his tentacles but he just does not seem to want to. Should I just hold off on feeding him for a while?

Try feeding at night.Usually that is when they have their tentacles out.

Yeah, I lost 3 the same way. No scolys for me for awhile, but yes, like a dipsh$t I never thought of feeding at night. Small bits of silversides are good too.

Thanks guys! I'll try to feed him later tonight to see if I can get him to let his tentacles out. I've only had him 5 days so maybe he is still getting acclimated. I just really do not want to lost a $100 coral.
