I would try to set up the 210 as much as possilbe before adding anything of importance from your 75. Let it cycle etc...

I'd set and plan the new tank out well get all the pumps and mechanical equipment all together and have it all ready to go figure out how you will circulate the internal water and all also . Its a different ball game from a 75 to a 200+ the 75 will make good sump :) But if you plan it correctly and get everything ready its doable in a single day or as fast as you can work.

i think the 75 is to large : ( to fit under the stand

any suggestions as to what type of power heads to use in tank for current
i have the biggest rio and a few smaller power heads right now in my 75
just dont know what to expect going into a 210

I would be wary about skipping the cycle...All I have heard is scary...

depends on what you expect from this set up and wht you want to keep in the system long term. In a 210 I'd drill it and run double pumps on the main and as a open recirculating loop.. I like the little giant pumps.. look at what OTTY's 265 build string , thats what you need to do.. Or you will be fighting it all the time.. Every corner you try to cut now will add a mile to the journey!

sorry for sounding so dumb but the tank has 2 black square things on the back and in the black things the glass has round holes cut in it

so im guessing the holes are for the return from the sump that will go below

i have a tank for over a decade just never a sump type so really i guess im a noob at this

thanks for all the advice so far

im going to the store where it is at to remeasure and see if my existing 75 really wont fit as the refug sump thing
