some interesting growth pics, plus id?

I thought it would be cool to post some pics of the growth that has occurred in my tank. Look closely at the after pics and you can see all the new heads forming on the acan and the hammer.

i just fed him so hes a fatty




now theres is where the id is, if you look at the pic above (the enclosed zoas) now look at the pic below, this is what the rock looks like now. The red is some type of macro algae I assume, but when is the pinkish thing in the front??

Great looking bunch of macro whatever it is. Is the pink growth hard or soft? Does look like it might be a sponge. Nice growth on the corals by BTW.

 

its more soft then it is hard (if you can understand that) and slightly on the slimey side. That rock was 5 bucks and now I got some cool macro, bright orange zoas, and now possibly a sponge. Can't beat that.

 

i dont think its a sponge. looks more like a dying finger leather covered in some cyano.

 

I love the hammer before and after, beautiful tank!

 

well theres no cyano, and its definitely not dying. That thing sprouted out of the rock like 2 months ago and is growing strong. Also I have a leather in my other tank and it retracts when the lights go out, idk if all leather do this but this thing is always the same.

 

wondering if anyone else has any ideas about the pink thing (i hate when people bump an hour later, so i waited a few days )

 

I can safely say I have no idea.
