    Spider web anemone i think they are called...I think they may harm those polyps though..

    That's why I was removing it and would explain why I've lost over half of my Pink Palys in the last 3 weeks or so.

    Ball anemones (pseudocorynactis spp) usually aren't a big deal. However, if it's in the middle of a patch of zoanthids, then it is an issue.

    That sounds like damage from zoanthid eating nudibranchs and not from the anemone.
