Some Kind of Green Carpet!

    I have no idea what that is. It is growing next to my mushrooms. It is green and there is some purple tubes growing beside it... Any idea??

    Looks like Zoanthads... and some brown stuff the the right of it

    You mean it's Zoanthids? Is it good? Is it gonna kill my mushroom?

    OH very good.. and will not kill anything... Zoa's are photsinthetic."SP" and are very easy to care for..

    yes Zoanthids, no I don't believe they will kill your mushrooms, although I would take zoas over mushrooms any day but that is my personal preference.

    So the purple tubes are zoanthids? What about the green carpet beside it?

    The green stuff is smaller and harder to Id .... almost looks like Clove polyps. but i am not certain...

    green "carpet" looks like an encrusting montipora capricornis, if not a monti then it is definitely some sort of encrusting SPS, good score!
