Some kind of monti...I think

    Picked this up for 15 bucks. I'm 99% sure its some kind of monti. As to what flavor, I'm leaving towards spongodes but I'm not sure.

    I know its hard to positively ID without much visible growth pattern, but is there anything else it could possibly be?

    I don't think it is, the corallite structure on my confusa is significantly different.

    Good guess, but it doesn't really have the almost "bubbly" looking structure of verrucosa (thought, undoubtedly, that may change as it grows).

    I really should have turned it so I could take a picture of the other side where the corallite structure is much more pronounced. Perhaps after work...
