Some kind of worms??? ID Please

    So over the past few weeks I have noticed these worm/tenticle things coming out from the rocks. They always come out in two's and they are out during the day and night. And the ends act like hooks and grab food that floats by. They are black and white striped, maybe black and gray and they are about an inch long( at least the part that comes out of the rock is). Sorry for the bad pictures but my camera gets blurry when i zoom to far underwater. Let me know what you think these are, not sure if they are multiplying or moving around to different rocks. But they are always out.


    In the 1st picture they are to the left of the mushroom, in the 2nd picture the are tocuhing the black snail shell.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    That appears to be marco brittle stars, harmless hitch hikers that capture floating particles of food.

    You seldom see them out and about just legs hanging out from holes in the rock work.

    Thanks, but i cant seem to find a good picture of them online to compare. Happen to know where i could find one?
