Yeah, stuck on me too. The site is definately not as much fun as it was because of all the clock issues. On a free auction I could care less, but during a bid auction when I paid for those things and a technical issue screws me it's kind of upsetting.

There are two major issues with these types of "penny" auction sites that make people think it's a scam:
    1) Clock issues - makes you feel like you got screwed
    2) Bot Bidders - who's to say the people running the site don't have "bot" accounts to drive up price and get people to shell out more bids. Now this site (CPA) is legit and honest as far as I can tell, but I do know of different "penny" sites getting caught running "bot bidding"

I know they are legit too. They have been good to me and sent me some nice coral so far.

I'm just saying 'penny' auctions get a bad rap because of clock issues and bot bidding.

It will probably take a couple days or even weeks for them to get this clock/server issue straightened out. Till then, I'm a little nervous about spending my bids when I'm not sure if the clock will go out on me.

I think if they were doing a bot bidding thing, the first corals wouldn't have gone for so little. People have gotten too many of the high price items for too little.

It's not good in the long run but think it adds a new dimension to the bidding

First if you are always on top like CBS it will most likely be in your favor. So it punishes you for holding back your bids to the last second. Second if they restart the auction it means two people get the item for a reduced price.
