some new adds 2-19-2011

Well 2 weeks ago i set off on building a new sump and it has payed off i had a slow decline of nitrates down to 12 ml . i decided instead of running filter socks and reactors . im running 2 bags one for charcoal and a smaller one for gfo and seems to be working well for me chamber on the left is fast flow water leaveing chamber runs over the filter bags and over some filter pad chamber on right is slow flowing fuge with about 30 lbs of live rock . i figured less equipment less chance of failure both returns go into the skimmer chamber one of them has a tee installed with a 3/4 inch drain to the fuge side the ball valve will create a backup in the return forcing flow to the fuge


But now for the new adds now that everything is working well first pic is of a derasa clam
