    Haha unfortunately too late!!!

But I figure, since my tank has been cycling naturally for 4 weeks on its own and brought the amonia / nitrites to 0, I should have atleast some bacteria colonizing ... So this additive can't be too bad at this point no?

Dr. Tim's is a culture of the bacteria that processes the waste. You should probably research it before suggesting it is bad. Just follow the bottle directions.

A quick update: Checked my Amonia / Nitrites again today (24 hours since I have ghost fed 15 pellets yesterday) and both of them are at 0!

So thats a good sign right? I will ghost feed again tomorrow after I do a 30 gallon water change + add Dr Tims 1 and only ...

    Sound good?

Definitely a good sign, glad to see you are soon going to have some livestock.

Sounds great. I'm a big believer in using bacteria additives. Tank looks amazing.

By stating he shouldn't use them, you did imply they weren't as good as natural. Dr. Tim's is the bacteria that nitrify in the tank. He did his PhD on it. I'm sorry if you felt I was pulling an attitude (smart-ass was completely uncalled for).

This isn't "fake" bacteria, it's all natural as well... it's just concentrated and bottled. Why wait month after month to grow the bacteria "naturally", instead of dumping in a bottle of the same bacteria... and being ready to go in a week or two?

    Thanks SSDennis!

Update guys: So I did a 30 gallon water change, added Dr Tims, and also ghost feed roughly 20 pellets to the tank...

Checked the levels a few hours later : Amonia / Nitrites are 0 again ! Nitrates dropped to 10 (previously 20)..

I will test again tomorrow morning... I am very very tempted to add a pair of clowns and might just pull the trigger tomorrow if my levels stay at 0 for Amonia / Nitrites...

With the addition of Dr. Tim's with what you thought was already cycled... you should be fine to add a pair of clowns. Make sure you test daily for at least a week to make sure your tank can handle them.

What is your planned stock list? I only ask as I would advise to add the clowns last depending on the other tankmates.
