    As a young adult, with a couple friends in the hobby, I can say I've learned 90% of what I know from the people on this site! Also to your point about sharing, when I get new stuff, one of the first things I think about is posting pictures on here and talking about it lol. This was my first time in a forum for anything so I was a little hesitant at first, but now I don't understand why people wouldn't want to be part of it! My tank wouldn't have got this far without people here helping along the way

    well one of these days youll go to talk to him and he'll have an aptasia problem or red worms or something and cant figure it and when he asks for help, tell him you left your forum at home.

    Yeah, that's unfortunate. Even if you just lurk here and don't participate you can learn a ton. The books are good too, but this site (and others like it) fill in a lot of the gaps...

    When I was 24 I knew it all, done it all, and experienced it all, well most. Now that I'm 40, I've seem to have forgotten it all. I know just enough to cause myself more trouble.
