Haha sounds like a good life! And I know what you mean about the barking. My little dog barks constantly (doing her part to help perpetuate the stereotype of yappy little dog!). If she even hears the doorbell on tv she goes insane. My other dog is so laid back, they are such opposites.

Post a pic of your big dog!

oh yea barking gets very annoying. The door bell or knocking is the worst, i'm dreading halloween, she and our other dog were HORRIBLE last year. And ok, i'll have some pics up of the other one here in a few

here is a pic of our other dog Parker. Were not really sure what he is as he was a pound puppy, but we now think he is an aussie x lab x akita mix. He's 4 years old and still very energetic and strong. His weight comes from mussel and not fat. He's pretty protective of us and the house, but nothing bad by any means, just mainly barking. His pound name was Jester lol

Ellie the little one, i got from my work, she was basically a rescue. Her previous owner passed away and her and my boss were close so my boss took her and she was left in a small kennel for a year and only got out for a quick walk to go potty twice a day. She was getting a little cage aggressive because she was in the kennel for 24/7. Over time i was feeling sorry for her and she liked me where most people she did not like. I wanted to take her home but my parents refused and my sister had a small dog aggressive dog when she was living her so that would have not worked out that well. So what i did was on my lunch breaks i snuck ellie home with me while everyone else was at work. This worked for a while then i got caught :D I annoyed my parents so much about letting me get her *that's also how i got my 46 bow, by annoying them so much :D* so they finally gave in. It was a little hard with my sister's dog. So what we had to do was keep a babygate on the stairs to keep ellie from coming down, and when she was down stairs she could not go on the floor and had to be held. Eventually my sister moved out and took her dog with her now ellie is free to roam the house, and my parents like her now :D Oh, her previous name was Sheeba. Lol so that's my dog's story, oh yea, she is 5 years old :D

My dog is a 65lb tub of lard who lives out his days in this order: sleep, wake up, eat, nap, bark, nap, eat again, bark again, sleep, repeat. But he's almost a teenager so he's allowed to do this. :) Back in the day, he was an energetic, coordinated slab of muscle 65 lbs and spent 95% of his time outside caring for his domain, the back yard. As he grew older, the muscle was slowly replaced by fat, the outside was slowly replaced by the inside, and his ability to catch rabbits, birds, opossums, and all those other critters he killed slowly left him. Once he hit about 10 or 11 he was fully graduated to a tub of lard who spends 95% of his time indoors. And somewhere between being 1 and 11, he grew a total hatred towards any and all UPS trucks, and ever since the earthquake we had here he's had a fear of load noises and bangs. He hates football games on TV because of the loud noises, he hates 4th of July and other firework days. And because of his UPS hatred he hates anyone who rings the doorbell or comes through the front door. So house guests have to come in through the garage if they want to keep their legs or the blood in their legs. Almost learned that the hard way...yikes.
