    I'm sure that he's talking about the breed in general. I highly doubt that anyone would publicly admit that they're inbreeding dogs unless they're looking to get a rise out of folks :)

    I have a friend who has a male Ridgeback and it is the most mellow dog I've ever "met" so I suppose that not all of them are hyper/skittish.

    i suppose but i guess not all border collies are nuts either...but a good majority of them!

    Mastiffs were bred for hunting people! We aint got no lions in Connecticut so I'll stick with my mastiffs!
