    Hello:

On the right side you see a clam. I just put it up there and isn't sure if I should keep it that high. I had it originally on the sand with a rock underneath. Any clam experts, please let me know. Thanks.

Here is the pics of when the tank was cycling...

Here are pics after (with the lights, left, center and right side of the tank) .. enjoy

That clam looks a little small. If it's about 3 inches or less then lighting doesn't play as important a role as feeding it does. Once it's over 3 inches then your lights seem like they will do he job, but the clam would be better off lower in the tank.

thanks for the help on clam. I will put it back on the sand w/ the rock and feed it often. I feed live DT and cyclop-eze. I put it like 2x a week.

I raised the lights so i can put my hands/head in there. j/k. Actually, I wanted enough space so I can put a little fan in between (left side). Also, during summer, it gets very warm and I don't have a chiller, so not to go over 81 degrees, I have to have it that far apart w/ fans blowing across. Did you also notice the computer fans on the lights? hehe. Next year is when I plan to get a chiller, then I might consider bringing the length down by 1/2. For now, this is the only way it's working. What is not in the pic is a 20gal sum under the stand, and another 20gal fug (w/ chaeto) on the left side, all connected.

I got an itch to get a bigger tank, but w/ the economy like this and no more space in my house, I have to keep it for now. One day, one day, boom, get a 100+gal..heehee (dreaming for now)

A/C? what's that? LOL j/k Yea, we do have whole house ac and it's too expensive to leave that thing on. I am in southern CA so it's not that hot and not that humid. We only turn on AC on the days that are over 95degrees outside. My family like the warm weather so, AC gets used once in a while.

Good looking tank.. I have a question about frags.. Is that the way you normally put them in the tank? I mean still on the little frag disc? Or is there a way to take them off of those to put them on one of your live rocks?
Just asking cuz I'm new and don't know... not trying to be cute.
