It is a dry heat, yeah right !
My vote goes for peppermints, after you have ruled out nudibranchs, asternia starfish, sundial snails.

Peppermints have the potential to eat just about anything, as does any other crustacean. Especially if it's not a peppermint, but a camel shrimp, which looks pretty similar if you're not aware of the difference.

My asternia ate my zoanthids, this I know because I saw them do it on more than one occasion, wiped out my entire colony over a 6 month period.

If that is a fancy name for bristle worms, i did have one in my GSP, but when i moved my tank around i did a coral dip and took that out, but there may be more but i havent seen any in a very long time, and if i did id have to go buy another 6-line, b/c the one in my tank just vanished, havent seen him in about 2 weeks, ive checked the overflow, sump everything i could think of, and i cant find him, floor behind my tank all sorts of places.
