Okay well the guy who sold me these two corals told me to keep them and he'd give me the price I paid for them as a credit next time I come in. Thats fine, however now I've got two carnations and no phytoplankton.

What brand of phytoplankton is the best to get? Any suggestions?

    This one?

It seemed to be the most highly rated. I was thinking about going to petsmart and getting whatever phytoplankton they have just to start feeding it something, and then ordering some good stuff.

Guilty as charged. Most LFS SHOULD carry it, you might have to look around. Shipping an item that requires refridgeration might cost some good $$

Agreed DT's is the best live phyto available, any good LFS should be able to supply it. But beware, when that stuff expires....well lets just say i have first hand experiance with projectile vommiting now(luckily not in the tank) :laughing0

Is the Kent Phytoplex any good? I just need something to get me by until I get the good stuff and that's what petco carries. My lfs doesn't carry anything like that :(

it eats the smallest food you can get.like i said before,garf.org is the only place with any success.their site is hard to navigate but all their info about success with carnations is on it.i think they will take phone calls 2.they are all about low impact on reefs and should be happy to help.or you can just enjoy its beauty while its there.then you can put a new frag on the rock when its gone.
