I think your electric bill is going to be through the roof keeping your house at 70 degrees.

( we keep our house at 68 degrees lol)

although my fishies are always at good temp without the need of a heater

honestly depending on your pumps and lights, you should be ok for a little bit. My house stays around 73ish and my heater hardly ever kicks on.

your fish are going to be stressed.. if there is no night today.
but my guess is if right when you get back you turn the lights of and somehow make it dark in the tank, they will be fine.

you should be OK. If the lights are on, the pumps, etc, your tank will be over 70. I have had a tank dip to 67 overnight with no ill affects if that helps you feel any better.

im just worried. bought 2 new clowns yesterday. the tank they were in had a huge amonia spike, so i took them out along with the 2 gobies i had, and dripped them in to this tank. when i woke up they looked ok, then i got called in to work and forgot to set everything up. i just hope they make it, they were a surprie for my GF for when she comes back on sunday.

is the house in your jurisdiction area? tell your neighbor to call 911 and say there is a fire. Might as well check in on the tank while you are there ;) :p
