Well this is about the 4th time buying a anemone for my clown fishes. Everytime i get a new one it'll always die. Maybe someone thats haves one for a long time could help me on how to keep it healthy and not having it die everytime? Or who ever haves one. thanks!

by age i mean how long have you had your tank? are your bulbs power compact or t-5?
as far as params i mean nitrates,ph etc.
I would highly recommend against any more anenome's especially in a system of that size, they can be difficult even for so called experts,in my opinion they are better left to people with years of experience or in the ocean.

Age = how long you have had everything up and running.
Lighting = what kind? Is it VHO, PC, T5, Halide? If your not sure, do a google search to see what each looks like and compare to what you have. We also need to know how many watts total you have (usually printed on the bulbs) and how old the bulbs are.
Live stock = whats in the tank thats alive? What kinds of fish and clean up crew do you have.
params = parameters. For basics, what are your temp, specific gravity, nitrate, nitrite, PH and ammonia readings? If you dont have a test kit, get your water to an LFS and have them test it.

Alright. Ive had the tank for about 2 months now. Live rocks were added about a month after the tank was on and going. The light is a flurescent(120v, 60Hz, 10w, 180mA(129), bulbs are about one month old, in the tank that is alive are the live rocks and live sand, I have about 3 clown fishes and two blue dansels, and two little red crabs but they dont ever come out. the temps are about 76 to 80 degrees, and the PH is at 8.2. I dont know about the other readings. Remember im new to this. Hahha!!

your tank is completely wrong for an anemone...dont buy anymore.

    They require:
    1. mature tanks....at least 1 year of age
    2. bigger tanks
    3. pristine water conditions, NO ammonia, nitrates, nitrites (you will need to test for this because I bet yours are all out of the roof
    4. better lights. They require MH most of the time (depending on they type SOME can survive in T5HO...but they require bright bright lights
    5. You are WAYYYY overstock for a 10g period, even worse for a tank that is 2 months old

I would suggest you get rid of the damsels and 1 clown fish...and that is all you can keep. The crabs are fine....I am actually surprised the fish have survived at all.

    Definately need to slow down.....

What type of filter do you have, any sump, water flow. Test your water paremeters (nitrates, nitrites, ammonia) immediately because I think you will loose your fish very soon

    Sorry....

Tank is way too new and you don't have strong enough lighting. You can't just drop things into the tank and hope for the best. That's how things die......
